Staffee: Workforce Insights

I designed Staffee as one workspace for workforce data: a dashboard, employee records, a project board, payroll, hiring and settings.

KEY DESIGN DECISIONS

Workforce, employee and payroll views.

Three decisions shape how the workforce modules fit together.

01

Workforce views

I separated the overview, employee information and payroll into distinct views, so each answers one kind of question.

02

Payroll status labels

Payroll carries a payment-status label on each employee row, keeping status visible next to cost.

03

Charts and people records

The employee view puts aggregate activity and individual people records on one surface, so a trend can be read against the people behind it.

Each of these decisions shipped in Staffee.

How do workforce summaries connect to the records shown in each module?

Design
outcome

The dashboard, employee and payroll views share one structure: summaries first, individual records beneath. A total is never far from the people it describes.
