MyDoc: Find & Book Specialist Care

I designed how patients find specialist care and book it: care discovery, a doctor profile, appointment selection, review and confirmation.

HOW THE BOOKING IS STRUCTURED

Profiles, review and confirmation.

I built the booking around one principle: the patient sees exactly what they are booking before they commit to it.

01

Appointment views

Booking moves through three views: the doctor profile, a review step and a confirmation overlay.

02

Review details

The review screen makes doctor, patient and appointment details visible before confirmation.

03

Confirmation overlay

The confirmation overlay repeats the appointment details, so the booking ends on a clear summary.

Each of these decisions shipped in MyDoc.

Appointment
Clarity

  • Care discovery sits on the home screen, alongside articles, consultation options and urgent help.
  • The doctor profile shows credentials next to appointment dates and consultation type.
  • Appointment selection leads to a review of doctor, patient and appointment details before anything is confirmed.

What I’d Change
Next

Looking back, I would test whether patients can pick out the selected doctor, date and consultation type at a glance on the review screen, and tighten its hierarchy around anything they miss.
